(Barrie, ON) Do you enjoy festivals that feature a live celebration of spectacular performances from a variety of backgrounds? Well don’t just watch - get involved! After a highly successful inaugural event last year, Rhythmfest is back and is looking for Committee members.
Barrie’s waterfront will provide the perfect backdrop to this multicultural celebration on Saturday, August 6th from 10:00am to 10:00pm in Heritage Park. This is Barrie’s first interactive festival which features workshops and performances from a variety of musical and dancing acts representing Canada’s diverse music scene.
Some of the roles that the Barrie Rhythmfest committee will be undertaking include: governance and management, planning event activities, entertainment programming, sponsorship, marketing and “friend-raising.”
Interested individuals can apply in person to the City of Barrie’s Department of Culture located on the second floor of the Barrie Transit Terminal or by fax or email at the below contact.
