The Market Conditions here in Barrie started to change in June and July.  It seemed to get slower as we approached December.  So far the month of January has been busy.  It is officially just a Buyers market right now.  How do we know?

 Generally if there is  9 months of inventory (Active Listings) we are in a Buyer's market.  Between 6-8 is a flat or transitional market.  0-5 months of inventory is a Sellers Market.

At this time the Inventory is 8.7 months.  Market is a lot better then most people think, but at the same time it is the GREATEST time to be buying.  With Prices down and the Fantastic Mortgage rates it is the Best time to be Buying your First Home or "BUYING UP IN A DOWN MARKET"">
